Free Internet Services

There are many places on the Internet where you can get free services. Free home page space, e-mail services, guest books, page counters/trackers, URL forwarding/redirection and, free or near-free ISPs (Freenets) make the Internet fun to use. Check out the web sites below. If a site is no longer free or active, which happens from time to time, or if you know of a site that should be added to this page, please write.

Alamak Internet - This guest book server offers some customization, e-mail notification and deletion editing.

Beseen - Free guest book service with customization features, e-mail notification and deletion editing.  Bulletin board service and page counter are also provided.

Dachshboard Software - This guest book server offers no customization or deletion editing.

Dreambook - You can have multiple guest books but each book is limited to 75 entries. Many features; you can completely customize Dreambook to match your site. In normal editing mode, you can pick from a variety of templates, and if you switch into advanced mode, you can edit the html directly to make your own custom forms. You decide what fields appear in your guest book, and how they are arranged. You can even ask your visitors questions and create complex questionaires.

Gbook - This web site is a combination of guest book, page counter and page stats. Some customization and deletion editing allowed.

Guestbooks.net - Enroll on-line. Features include e-mail notification and autoresponse, DNS and IP information. Some customization and deletion editing allowed.

GuestPAD - No customization but several form fields and HTML by the signer is allowed. No editing for the free service.

GuestWorld - Many features including full editing of entries. HTML allowed by the signer. Formerly Lpage, they claim to be the biggest service but server uptime reliability has been poor. There have been at least two crashes in the past that have lost all entries.

Hit Parade - This web site is a combination of guest book and page counter in French only. Some customization and deletion editing allowed.

Infination - Enroll on-line; some customization and deletion editing allowed, comment box is a single line which makes it awkward for the signer to review his comment.

Internet Tool Zone - This web site is a combination of guest book and page counter plus other goodies. Enroll on-line with e-mail response; e-mail address required.

Linko - Some customization features, editing of entries limited to deletions only.

MadeiraWorld - No features, editing of entries limited to deletions only.

Relationships To Savor - Many features and you can control the settings; e-mail notification and the ability to keep the signed guest book database on your own web server or on either of their two separate web sites; full editing of entries. Enroll on-line with password by e-mail response.

SPiN - Several customization features including HTML editing of the page style and HTML by the signer. Entry editing limited to deletions only.

Submit This - No customization features or editing of entries.

V7 - This web site is in Japanese only.

Web Post - Some customization features plus URL redirection; editing of entries limited to deletions only. Page counter available too.
